I can't remember how I got on Prospect Response email marketing list, but about 2 month ago, I decided to do some checks before buying their promised hits to my site.
ScamAdvisor.com gave them a 99% trust rating and they are deemed to be popular by Alexa with a ranking of 398440. What could possibly go wrong.
I entered my Card Details and the payment went through without any hick-up. I got a confirmation email of my purchase and then silence. No visitors to my site or any follow-up info regarding my order. No proof of services rendered.
I logged in to my account, but could not find any sign of my purchase. How do I cancel this service as it is recurring?
I decided to contact their admin, but hit a brick wall. Not one of their email addresses works. Most links on the site are also not working.
I went to Worldpay's website, but you can't stop this online debit order through them. Easy to take your money, but impossible to contact. So no luck here either. I phoned my own bank to cancel this, but was advised to visit the nearest branch. Whoopy!
I went back to ScamAdvisor.com and gave my views, just to find that their status changed to OFFLINE.
The site is offline, but the auto-responder and the payment system is ON. Obviously to catch innocent marketers like me.
Must I really give a rating, as it's offline. Let give it 0 out of 10.
